Room Inspiration #1

Hello! Ever since I first moved into this house I have had the same room. And I will continue to have the same room unless I change it. Considering I am doing this mini redecoration with money from my own purse, I cannot purchase everything I desire... So I will DIY it! This summer I have decided to turn my room from a prettypastelvintage palace in to a sophisticated bedroom. However, I don't have a lot to work with considering I cannot purchase any furniture or move the furniture around or paint the walls. Hmmm. 

I really really really LOVE this mood board I created from bea-u-tiful rooms I found on the wonderful wide web. I am hoping to incorporate some black into my bedroom *goth alert* alongside the blues and greens of the pastel colours to add an industrial edge *my inner interior designer is escaping*. I am so excited to start and will make sure I document any DIYs I do and share with you guys! So far I have come up with a list of steps:

1. Buy new black and white bedspread

2. Buy fairy lights to brighten up the wall

3. Print out pretty black and white prints

4. Change poster in frame with a DIY print

5. Hang up photo frames in a collage

6. Up-cycle my bin AND my chest of drawers - paint mint green/ pale blue

7. Make a dream catcher

8. Think of more steps (erm)

General Chatter

Hello! Today's post is a sort bumbling, un-structured chatty post where I am basically going to suggest some ideas other random shizz in the hope that it can improve my blog!

1. SURVEY- thank you so much to everyone who took part in my survey! I got about 4 responses which I was really happy about and have given  me LOADS of new ideas. You can still take the survey HERE.

2. STRUCTURE- I'm thinking of coming up with a structure for my posts because at the moment it is really random. and I post when I want! What do you guys think?

3. COLLABORATIONS- I'm really hoping to expand my readership over the summer so if anybody wants to do a cheeky collaboration then let me know and shoot me an email :)

4. Q+A VIDEO- this idea scares me. Seriously. Yet, I love watching other bloggers share their videos and was hoping to give it a try so maybe *if I get enough YES' in the comments* then I will shoot one. If you have any questions for me to answer in this maybenotsureyetbuthopefully Q+A video then leave them in the comments please!

Recently me and my chummy went on a little photographing spree in the church graveyard. This time, however, I was behind the camera. I am not entirely sure whether my friend will want her face to be seen so I cannot post all the beautiful photos (which she hates and I love) :(  Anyway, it was so much fun and really easy as I just used my iPad so the photos were instant and quick to edit.

Ah. Maybe another time she will let me post the beautiful face ones but for now you can marvel on my wonderful grandpa jacket I let her ever so kindly wear :) Seriously though, it was £2 from a charity shop!
