hair inspiration// the chop

Despite my friends protesting, hours of pinterest(ing) and tumblr(ing) have inspired me to take the plunge (or should I say chop). I've had my hair long for ages now and am finding myself getting tired of excessive washing and hair literally getting e v e r y w h e r e . I'm not sure when this brave move will take place exactly but when it does there will be plenty of selfies .... or not if all goes terribly.

Do you like the chop?

"Things never happen the same way Twice"

Mason Jars are probably my favourite 'instagram worthy' item at the moment. If I could, I would fill every crevice of my bedroom with jars filled with all the i-don't-know-where-to-put-it-but-it's-too-nice-to-throw away things. The Dark Wood Jar Company on Etsy sells the most beautiful jars with cute quotes from films and books. This Narnia one is so vintage that I just HAD to take some photos of it.

Also, the back of the jar has the Narnia lamp-post on it- little fandom girl inside me *screams*

Thank you so much to my lovely friend Ciara for helping me take these photos. I am so happy with this jar and cannot wait to give it pride of place on my bookshelf. It's such a perfect size for drinking and with a cute Etsy straw one would literally be branded t u m b l r . So please do check out their website to view their multiple designs - I am obsessed with the Lord of The Rings one. Have a wonderful week at school...erm... a post about my trip to Camden will be coming soon.

This is a sponsored post; however, all the words are my own.

Wasted

I like us better when we're wasted. (Don't tell me you didn't sing this line in your head). Today was a take photos at school kind of day. Oh yes. I stayed after school on a Friday to use the photography departments' amazing white background. But, it is the weekend which means countless hours of homework and gossip girl.

To be honest, I might even say that this outfit is pushing on boring. However, it is September and that is a time for skinny jeans, granny jackets and wannabe Timberlands.

Riptide

Today was a homework/ eating waffles/ taking photos kind of day. Apologies for the lighting, I'm trying to kid myself that it makes it look dark and mysterious...erm.

I would describe this outfit as slouchy. I feel comfortable yet some what tumblr(y) in my wannabe 'mom' jeans and shirt. I'd also like to point out that currently my favourite hairstyle is to pull it back into this messy half bun without brushing it or washing it. Very second day hair or third day .
I hope school isn't to unbearable argh.

Cornwall Part 1

School starts tomorrow and quite honestly I feel depressed about it. Teachers, homework, arguments and stress about exams. Anyway, I recently got back from my holiday in Cornwall and had such an amazing time! I put together a selection of photos taken with my phone. The above was taken at my great grandma's bungalow in Penzance and oh my, so many succulents!
Our seaside cottage was so cute, especially my parents bedroom. It was very hard for me not to put that aztec rug in my bag. Oh and purchase some blue paint to smother my floor.
Penzance prom is soooo beautiful and the light that evening was mystical.
Here are just a few random photos featuring the most amazing mirror in history which begged me for a selfie.

I've got many more photos but I'll save those for part two (also they don't seem to be uploading grr). And for all those back to schoolers I am with you in the pain.
